Edwin Brown (1814 – 1891)

Victorian Animal Artist, Edwin Brown, was born in 1814 in Mancetter and is most recognised for his portraits of horses, farm animals and dogs.

Having moved to Coventry in his early 30’s, Edwin often signed his work “E. Brown of Coventry”.
