A Shorthorn / Highland cross.
This Ox as bred by William Hutchinson Esqr. of Egleston, nr Barnard Castle.
He was out of a Highland cow by a grandson of Old Favourite, belonging to Charles Colling of Ketton, and was fed by Thomas Wilkinson Esqr. of Newbus Grange, Nr Darlington, in the County of Durham.
