Thomas Weaver (1774-1843)

Thomas Weaver was a Shropshire artist who specialised in the portraiture of prize farm animals.

Among his early patrons was the famous animal breeder Thomas Coke of Holkham and later, the Earl of Leicester. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and also at the Acedemy in Liverpool where he died.
