James Loder (op. 1820 – 1857)

James Loder spent his working life in the South West of England in the Somerset city of Bath.

James was a provincial artist who made his name by painting portraits of cattle, horses and hunting groups. Alongside his paintings, James Loder was also known for producing engravings of sporting animals.
